Padeloween — Halloween Americano

The brief

Padeloween was a Halloween Americano by Aspire Padel League at Mangkuluhur Padel Club on Saturday, 31 October 2026. Players came in costume and played a 3C3H Americano: partners and opponents rotated every game, best of 5 games with tennis scoring, and points counted individually. Prizes went to the highest scorer and the best costume, with trick-or-treat candy games between matches.

What I did

1. Before the event, made an animated teaser story: the APL logo tears open to reveal ghosts playing padel under a night sky, followed by the event details, format, prizes, dress code and a scannable RSVP QR code.
2. After it, edited a 39-second 9:16 recap Reel from 103 videos and 19 photos: hook, title, costumed arrivals, rallies, funny moments, Best Costume, Highest Scorer, group photo and an end card inviting viewers to the next game.
3. Delivered two versions (one cut to the beat with slow-motion on two key moments, one without music for a track from Instagram's library), designed the 1080×1920 Reel cover, and wrote the caption and story copy linking to aspireclubs.com/league.

Outcome

A complete before-and-after content set for a community event, turning one night of footage into a recap that points viewers to the league. All participants gave consent, and winners' names were kept off the content.
